MARC LEE in TOOLING THE FUTURE
MESH FESTIVAL, BASEL, SWITZERLAND
Mesh is a new festival for digital art and technology. The first edition will take place from 16 – 20 October 2024 around the Freilager-Platz in Basel and Münchenstein. Mesh is a joint initiative of the HEK (Haus der Elektronischen Künste/ House of Electronic Arts), the HGK (Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW/ University of Art) and iart ag (Studio for Media Architecture).

Tomorrow is a Different Day spotlights art and design from the collection, from 1980 to the present, by international artists and designers who are helping to shape the changes of today and tomorrow. They challenge the status quo and offer alternative perspectives.

After Fotomuseum Winterthur showed A Show of Affection – Collection Constellation 1 in Winterthur, the curatorial idea is being continued: Under the same title, we are presenting Collection Constellation 2 with a different selection of works at Kunststiftung DZ BANK in Frankfurt, Germany. The exhibition provides an insight into our collecting activities by presenting exemplary works from the collection.
